Some receptionists / vets should never work with animals , attitudes show that I don’t know why they do !!!

I've just moved my two dogs to this vets and they've been absolutely grand in terms of looking after them over the horrendous bonfire night period. Highly recommended.

Do Not Go here at all cost. I booked my cat in for a neutering, to which they didn't haven an appointment for another month, I was told to arrive at 8:45, which was gonna be tight as I had work at 9:20 but was fine, I waited for a month, arrived promptly at 8:45, to meet a very RUDE receptionist saying I should be here at 9:15 to go through some forms with the vet, which I was never told about. I said that I couldn't wait till 9:15 and then go through some things and that I was just told to drop the cat off at 8:45, I asked to go through the forms now? and the response was the appointment is at 9:15 so the appointment is at 9:15. I explained I couldn't stay and that when I came last time the receptionist told me to come at 8:45, she couldn't careless. she also made a comment of me using a voucher due to low income, as if i should be grateful that there is an appointment at all. finally she said it wasn't her fault that I arrived early, to which I said no but it is the vets fault as the other receptionist told me wrong and had I had all the information prior I wouldn't've booked the appointment. she said the only option is to rebook for another months time and that I had to leave due to being annoyed! pathetic. would never come here again just money grabbing and unorganised and horrendous service from the receptionists.

Absolutely appalling service. My dog is not well and in lots of pain, I phoned and explained the whole situation and they said they could book me in for 2:30pm and I explained I would have to arrange transportation (they offered me earlier appointment on the other side of the city). Less than two hours before my dog’s appointment they phone and tell me there’s nothing they can do and they can’t fit her in. Earliest they can do is 3:15 and even then she’ll still have to “wait til the vet is done” or only other option is travel to other side of the city which I already explained wasn’t an option. They only have ONE vet which apparently can be called away at no notice?? So so unprofessional and they should NOT be running a veterinary service if they can’t even provide a vet. Absolutely shocking behaviour

As ever, a friendly welcome, by the receptionist, by name to both me and our dog. Then an excellently executed consultation, this time by a relatively new vet who seemed very nice and as equally competent as any of the other vets we've seen in the past. She treated our old dog, Ollie 16, very gently and thoroughly, checking back on notes from previous visits and suggesting new ways to look after him in his twilight years. We both feel very well looked after. Much more than just a business. Thank you.
